  16. Merry Christmas Patti. Just awakened at 6:30a.m, I forego my childhood 5:30 a.m. arising many years ago.

My husband cooked the Harp's boxed dinner last night so all I have to do is warmup and divvy up among neighbors and friends.

No way we need 8 servings of anything at my household. My friend Linda added 2pecan pies to the two huge pumpkin pies. She also brought us hom- made cinnamon rolls, a tradition she has done for many years.

Lordy where are all the WW points I need today.

If you were closer I'd bring you a heaping plate, too.

Merry Christmas to your readers, too, many of which I first read off your blog.

And may we as a Nation and as individuals find Peace in the coming year. It as to begin with someone, so may it begin with me.

Luckie sends woof greetings to Minnie, Mighty and Mickey. She has a stocking with a hedgehog toy (I call them porcupines) and her groomer sent home a bag of goodies yesterday.

  24. I want to thank all of you who stopped by with your holiday greetings. I feel so fortunate since I started blogging almost two years ago with all the amazing people I have met.
Some of you make me laugh, some of you make me think, with some I continue to learn, but you all make me grateful for the Internet and that instant connection. What a cool invention.
Can't wait to see what year three will bring.
    Thank you so much.

  27. Sorry about being late with my wishes ...so they are belated ones. Hope you had the sort of Christmas you desired ...we did. The boys are stll not quite 100% but well enough to have had a magical time but also managed to pass on their bug. Vicki was rough for all of it and soldiered on ...jay was just a little under par and I have woken today with a tight chest and a runny nose ...oh joy.
Thank you for continuing to write an amazingly interesting and fun blog ...I look forward to 2011 xx

  28. Better late than never. I finally got online and read posts today. No, I don't run anymore, except in the pool with a big rubber device. It feels good to push it through the water and run like a gazelle. Try it some time.
