I will be gone for a short while--I hope-- while I nurse a bit of creeping crud. Pretty sure it is only a cold so I shouldn't be feeling sorry for my self for long. I rarely get one of these so I am not sure how long it will last. Soon as I feel better, I will be back to bore you.
See ya soon. Stay warm, dry and healthy.

Hope you get well soon! I found a great tea for when I'm sick: Traditional Medicinals' Throat Coat. If you can find it, it's simply amazing. Until then, lots of R&R.
ReplyDeleteAww get well soon. I hope it doesn't develop into anything too nasty. Look after yourself and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your not doing well. Have a hot toddy, sleep it off, and you'll be your old self soon. Take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteTake care, snuggle up and stay warm and comfy. Sending healing energy your way.
ReplyDeleteSee ya soon, Oma Linda
Stay warm, drink a hot toddy, take a hot bath, read a good book and get better soon. I'll wait right here for you...
ReplyDeleteSorry! Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteTake care Patti. You don't bore me. I would rather be reading you than some of the things I read these days. We all need a good laugh. Have a Florida orange on me. Dianne
ReplyDeleteHope you find yourself back in the LAND OF THE LIVING soon!!
ReplyDeleteTake good care of yourself. And, boring? Never!
ReplyDeleteDitto what everyone else says. Take care. It is probably better to get it over with now, then you will be feeling back to normal by the holidays.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself and get well quickly! Take your echinacea and Vitamin C and rest up. We'll be right here when you feel better. And you're never boring!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. We will miss you.
ReplyDeleteHey, Patti, I'm sorry that you are not feeling well. Sending you hugs and luvs and prayers that you will be well by tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteYou never bore us, my dear Patti.....And I hope your 'creeping crud' leaves quickly...! Be Well, my dear, and take GOOD Care of yourself. You are always missed when you are not around the blog world....!

ReplyDeleteSo Sorry Patti... It's hard to feel puny any time of year---but very hard at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.

Betsy
I am sorry -I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteChicken soup....rest...a good book...get well soon.
ReplyDeleteThere seems to be a lot of crud going around. Don't let it progress .
ReplyDeleteA elderly mother of some friends of mine allowed a flu-like disease take hold to much, during a family crisis of a death in the family.
She is in hospital now with multiple problems, seemingly unrelated to the original problem which she still has.
Prayers and positive thoughts for your rapid recovery from me and Luckie.
Hope you get some of that Wellness Formula it really helps us get well much quicker, hang in there thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better already!
ReplyDeleteWishing you well, Patti!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better. It's no fun being sick, especially during the holidays.
ReplyDeleteSandy
Oh, no! Hope you will be all well and back to your sweet self very soon. Remembering you in our prayers. Hugs
ReplyDeleteHope you got your flu shot ... in any case, I'm sure you'll be back soon to regale us with a story of how you wrestled this nasty germ to the ground. Feel better!
ReplyDeleteTake care... My mother is suddenly not feeling her best too. I'm going to have to make some chicken soup.
ReplyDeleteI want to thank all of you for your good wishes and support. It may be working. Tuesday was the worst day I have ever been thru but today--Wednesday--I am much improved.
ReplyDeletePlease be careful out there. There is a really Nasty Cold bug out there.
Thank you again for all your support. You have always been and continue to be the Best.
Goodness, you have had one thing after another lately. You are starting to sound a little more like Patti (I thought an alien abductor had answered your phone on Tuesday). Glad you are doing better! If there is anything I can do, please don’t hesitate to call me!
ReplyDeleteAfter what you went through with the shingles, you are entitled to feel sorry for yourself as long as you wish. This is such a terrible time to get a cold so you will just have to put everything on hold and take care of Patti. Hope you are better soon and please keep in mind that you need to get plenty of rest.
ReplyDeleteJust recovered from a rough one myself - hope you feel better soonest!
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling much better, but it has only been about 4 days since you posted. Colds are just miserable and last about two weeks to 14 days, regardless of what you do. Chicken soup and lots of fluids and rest. *gentle hugs*
ReplyDeleteI never get colds often either but I get all sorts of complicated stuff. Hope you are better soon.
ReplyDeleteWarning: it lingers. I'm feeling guilty, as if I spread it by cyberspace!
ReplyDeleteTry the new Kleenex Cool Touch tissues in those shiny blue boxes. Lifesaver!
Take care, Patti. And enjoy the holidays. We're off to Arizona to see the Grands so I'll be off line for a bit too... :)
ReplyDeleteHey, Patti, are you okay? I'm getting a bit worried now. Hope you are feeling better. Hugs,
ReplyDeleteKathy M.
Hope you are on the mend ...I've been fighting a cold that is hanging around on my chest ...do I feel sorry for myself???? YES. xx
ReplyDeleteYou probably fell for your cold because you are weakened by your shingles. xx
Dear Patti I hope by the time you read this get well note that your feeling 100 percent better.
ReplyDeleteI hated to come by and hear that your not well. Feel better soon because we can't do without your writing too long.
God answered my prayers about the trip to Iowa as of last night it is off but knowing my landlady the way I do every time the phone rings I cringe. hahahaha
Love
Maggie
