BACK, ALMOST

Got back from the hospital yesterday. They put in 2 stents to correct a 99.7% blockage. Hey, I know how to do it right.

They went in through the groin so sitting is not much fun and I am grounded for 5 days so I will be back visiting and blogging next week. Thanks to all of you who stopped by and visited my stats.

See ya next week.

  4. Well now we are Heart Sisters:-) Wow, you had quite the blockages. Do you have other stents? I am the only person in my family with heart disease so I need friends to compare notes with. Let's stay in touch as we attempt to progress in healthy ways. Bless your heart!

  8. Thanks for the update and it's good they got this procedure done before it caused something that couldn't be repaired.

  11. I am happy that you got that blockage taken care of, I have been there also with a serious blockage being corrected going through the groin, my last check they went in through the wrist, that one makes sitting a little easier.

Like I suggested to Annie, just take care of yourself and don't rush the healing it is all going to be just fine.

  16. I'm glad you came through this okay, 99.7% is quite the blockage. Rest up and get 100% better, okay? After reading about so many blockages and stents, I think I'll schedule a check up for myself.

  18. Glad you did what needed to be done. Getting older is a drag but it is easier if you keep fixing things as they break down.

  23. So glad the blockage was caught in time! Too many folks don't listen to their body when it is signaling that something is wrong. So glad you're ok Patti! Sending hugs and best wishes for a speedy recovery. Can't wait to hear if there was anything comical about your experience. You have a knack for seeing the lighter side of almost everything :-)

  29. Having a hard time sitting can be a problem. I know after similar surgery but the prognosis is good and Mayo fixed my AFib in a similar manner...:)
