ZOMBIE CHICKEN AWARD

Yesterday, kenju sent me this cool award which she had received from Star. I am a newbie blogger and you just don't know how much being recognized means.

As an unpublished writer, I always consoled my self that "I write for my own amusement, like some people knit." Any honest writer admits that they write so it will be read. Blogging has taught me self honesty.

This award from kenju let me know that someone I admire thinks I am not a total waste of time. Thank you so much kenju. By the way, thanks to your very flattering praise of my blog, I really got a lot of new hits yesterday plus two new commenter's. Thank you again. You da best.

HOWEVER, this award comes with a curse. I copied the curse from kenju so when I pass on this award to 5 more bloggers they too will be aware of the curse.

Star says:
“The blogger who receives this award believes in the Tao of the zombie chicken-excellence, grace and persistence in all situations, even in the midst of a
zombie apocalypse. These amazing bloggers regularly produce content so
remarkable that their readers would brave a raving pack of zombie chickens just to be able to read their inspiring words. As a recipient of this world-renowned
award, you now have the task of passing it on to at least 5 other worthy
bloggers. Do not risk the wrath of the zombie chickens by choosing unwisely or not choosing at all…”

So now that you are forewarned, I list my blog choices. I don't want to repeat some of my former picks for the Kreativ Blogger award so I chose to go with relative newbies like myself whom I will click on as soon as I see a new post has arrived.

Shine On This blogger is on temporary hiatus right now but check out the Big Foot post to see the talent lurking there.

Arkie38 I really love the family ventures here. They take you right along with them.

South Florida Water Shed Journal Robert is a hydrologist in South Florida and keeps me up to date on conditions there. Florida may be dry but so is his humor.

Joyful Reflections Betsy is relatively new to me but a visit to her blog leaves you feeling warm all over. A really nice person lives here.

Somewhere on the Masthead This is not a new blog and is one of the first I followed. He has hit a rough patch due to the recession but is a hugely popular and talented writer.

To all of the above, I have lifted the curse. Any who fail to follow thru, I will gladly absorb any of the curse the chicken has in store. Hay, I am old, what else can he do to me.

Thanks again kenju.

I found your blog through your comments on Jewels' blog. Best Wishes to you, Peter
