I LIED

Well maybe not a lie but when I said I would be back today, I didn't count on me just having nothing, nada, zip to write about.

I am feeling really good, just lacking in ideas to flesh out a post.

However I wanted to make sure I wished you all a WONDERFUL HOLIDAYS in case I don't get any inspiration till 2020. I've said it before, you  are the best and I wish you all health, happiness and new memories for this magical season.

Regardless I will be by your blogs to visit so hope you are feeling more creative than I am.

See ya soonish.

A writer's block. I can understand that. But, keep in mind once something comes to you, it'll be another best seller! And if you don't find inspiration for a blog post, I'll send you my best wishes for a happy holiday season now.

As for the blogger block, I'll just have to wait it out. Thank you so much for your wishes.

    1. Doug,
Thank you. Think the season has us thinking too much in too many directions.

  3. I have managed to cut my posts down a third from what they were, and I'm not feeling any need to get going with more. Maybe it's just the time of year. I always enjoy everything you write about, even when you don't have anything to say! :-)

Thank you my friend. Maybe we just need to relax a bit. So glad you are still posting even if a bit less.

  4. Happy Holidays Patti! Hope Santa brings you a little inspiration for 2020.

Jerry Seinfeld had a very good career writing about nothing. So we bloggers should never feel like we have to apologize because we're not writing War and Peace.

  6. Happy holidays to you as well, Patti. When I've nothing to say, I usually say nothing. Pretty sure the world is not interested that my water pump quit working this morning!

    1. Florence,
Hey I am. Use to have similar problems in Florida during hurricanes when the power went out. Hunting water is an adventure. Sometimes for me, ants would get fried between the points and a dusting was all that was needed. Hope it is a simple fix.

  7. Happy Holidays to you too! I understand the feeling of having nothing to say. If it weren't for my grandson and his antics it would just be a boring litany of my less than exciting life. :)

  20. And a happy holiday season to you and yours. One of my resolutions for the New Year: not to feel pressured to post, not to feel forced to follow any schedule, not to think I have to come up with something because I've set any expectations for myself or others. Just post when I want to, when I have something (hopefully interesting) to say. Hava great 2020!

  27. Merry Christmas, Patti! I do appreciate all your comments and your fun postings over the years. By the way, my new water pressure tank was installed yesterday. The old tank's bladder had ruptured. (Thank goodness though, my aging bladder is still holding well!)

  30. Happy Holidays to you, Patti. I’ve been away visiting kids in Maryland and Illinois. Not quite back to normal yet. We just missed the snow storm. I’m aiming to start the blog again next week.... maybe. I know what you mean about starting up again.
